King Edward VII School, Glossop Road, opened September 1905. Formed by the amalgamation of Royal Grammar School and Wesley College, in the buildings originally known as Wesleyan Proprietary Grammar School, erected 1838. Became Wesley College, 1840s. This image was originally part of the Tim Hale Photographic Collection. It was purchased at auction in September 2019 through donations from members of the public and a grant from the Graves Trust. |
